Faven R8 Under Canopy Light for LED rooms

Faven R68 Under Canopy Light (UCL) IN STOCK and on SALE! These 46" LED bars each draw 120 watts and illuminate the underside of the plants utilizing parallel rows of lights in a 4' or 5' wide tray. Under canopy VPD is improved, the entire plant grows faster and larger, and pigmentation & terp expression becomes more uniform. On average, 30% yield increase on dry harvest weight, with higher % of jar-ready Grade A. Also labor savings from reduced nursery plant count, less under canopy stripping, and less time sorting final products.

Compared to other UCL and Inter-canopy light options, Faven has many unique features such as:

• Convex lens on LED diodes spreads light 150 degrees, and water/spray runs off
• Frosted light cover diffuses the light, similar to greenhouse films, for reduced shadowing
• R8 spectrum is tuned for rooms with LED over-canopy lights.
• IP-66 waterproof / dustproof, easy to clean
• Power cord has pigtail for RJ-14 digital timing & dimming control. RJ signal passes through click-together lighting strings so the first light in a string controls all. Trolmaster with LMA-14 lighting adapter.
• 120V, 240V, 277V auto-sensing/auto-switching power

To configure your rooms, note that up to 10 lights can be strung at 120V, 16 @ 240V and up to 20 per string @277V.

For example, on a 4ft x 28ft table, you would run a total of 14 lights. From a 240V or 277V power cord, you can connect two rows of 7 lights with one interconnect cable to loop-back the second row. If this was a 120V installation, you would use two, 120V power cords and no interconnect cable. You can daisy chain a Trolmaster LMA-14 (Line 2) to the start of each new string (RJ-14 to each power cord). Alternatively, order a Faven Mini Controller to dim lights, and use a centralized timer to power them on/off.

Note too that we recommend starting with at least one irrigation zone or one flower room. Faven UCL lights will cause increased transpiration rates and plants will be hungrier ("beasting" our clients say).
